School Board Elections in Alberta are about a year away, but it is important for those who are interested in running to start getting ready now. School Board Trustees make many of the important decisions affecting school choice – in practise their impact may be even greater than the provincial government’s. And yet, voter turnout is very low in these elections, so there is a greater opportunity to have an impact.
