I recently came across a really interesting article about home education. (Follow the link to read it). It's written by a pediatrician who had a lot of negative stereotypes about home education, but eventually ended up teacher her own children at home. The article argues that more and more professionals (doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc) are choosing home education, and it lists 18 interesting advantages of home schooling. The article is well worth a look, for home educators and for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the realities of home schooling.
