Parents for Choice in Education is pleased to be welcoming David Seymour, international school choice expert, to Edmonton on June 13th. Alberta’s education system was once internationally renowned for both choice and quality. However, many other jurisdictions have now stepped up to the plate and are creating more choice-friendly educations systems. Are we being left behind? David Seymour will speak about the state of education here in Alberta and around the world. He is a Senior Fellow at the Manning Foundation and was the advisor to the minister responsible for implementing charter school legislation in his native New Zealand.
