Short. Parents for Choice in Education is an Alberta non-partisan advocacy organization, founded in 2012, that works for an excellent, choice-driven education system answerable to parents.
Long. Parents for Choice in Education (PCE) is an Alberta-based, non-sectarian, not-for-profit advocacy organization founded in 2012. PCE holds that authority over a child's education belongs to the parent, and that choice among public, separate, francophone, charter, independent, online and home education is what makes that authority real. It publishes research and commentary, trains parents and candidates in campaigning and advocacy, and mobilizes parents through constituency-targeted alerts. PCE is non-partisan and works with MLAs of every party. It is not a registered charity and is funded by individual donors.
