AB Ed Report - How are we doing?

Alberta Education recently put out a report, measuring the progress of the province's education system and of individual boards in areas such as achievement test results, parental involvement, and dropout rates. You can find a summary of the report’s finding and the report itself here: http://education.alberta.ca/admin/funding/accountability/results.aspx
There are some encouraging things in this report, such as an improving high school completion rate. One item of potential concern is that the report notes declining levels of parental involvement in education.
These types of reports are very important - they give parents an understanding of what is happening in our education system, and the opportunity to address potential concerns.
